Life Conversations began serving the world community in Summer 2004, after founders Ade Anifowose and Ombassa Sophera were invited to present a weekly two-hour programme called Life Conversations...the Radio Show. On the show, listeners discussed their views about self and community empowerment, with the regular presence of experts who revealed universal methods of how to live your best life no matter the circumstance. Committed to changing lives one conversation at a time, Life Conversations...the Radio Show introduced listeners to vibrant and unique topics and speakers.
Ade and Ombassa have served the world community for a combination of 20 years, providing balance and alignment in peoples lives through facilitating personal development and self-awareness workshops, musical productions, conferences and personal coaching and counselling. The role of radio presenter was indeed a gift they both truly appreciated at this time.
Life Conversations the Radio show was popular right from the start, and its presenters soon realised that their vision and the demand for this empowering programming was much larger than their two-hour segment.
During Autumn 2005, Life Conversations...the Radio Show endured its first growing pain. Reluctant to leave their first radio home, but aware of the severe sacrifice that comes with resisting life's changing seasons, Ombassa Sophera and Ade Anifowose bid farewell to their faithful listeners promising that they would soon fulfill their mission of providing a space for listeners to continue to live their absolute best lives. Consequently, in October 2005, on their final broadcast of a show that provided an exhiliarating ride from excitement to tears in a mere two hours of music and discussion, Ombassa and Ade, made a commitment of establishing a 24-hour, non-stop empowerment radio station.
Almost a year later, Life Conversations...the Radio show evolved into LifeConversationsRadio.com.
The now independent station maintains its mission to assist in the process of re-creating a world where people are able to express themselves, communicate their truth, and discover their innate gifts.
LifeConversationsRadio.com is also dedicated to actively serving its surrounding local community. East Sussex residents have the opportunity to enjoy programmes during Community Hour, weekdays from 12pm-5pm, designed to highlight local activities and give information and education on local services available to the community.
Authors, Artists and Performers like Benjamin Zephaniah, Amel Larrieux, India Arie as well as an assortment of independent world musicians will be played on the family friendly station. Top-notch personalities will add humor, news and music information 24 hours a day!
